Italians Do It Better co-founder and DJ , Mike Simonetti,  just uploaded the first track off of his Capricorn rising EP.  ”The Third Of Storms” has Sam Sparro delivering whispery vocals backed by lush synth swells and beautiful harmonies. This is the perfect track to nurse that bangover from the night before or to do the walk of shame back home.

With his sophomore release Return To Paradise being released sometime this year, Sam Sparro has given us a taste of the old house sound that make the Paradise Garage so famous.

Pink Cloud EP features the  “Pink Cloud” which has gained a lot of buzz for its Larry Levan inspired sound and 90′s throwback video. There are also remixes by Julian Brody, NguzuNguzu, and Saint Le Roq. The fantistic B-side  “You’s A Nasty” features a female vocalist  who sings with one of the more memorable lines I have heard in a while.

Rating: Sam Sparro “Pink Cloud EP” gets 3 out of 5 kegs. While a great EP, I wouldn’t have minded another track, but leaving me wanting more is bettter than instant gratification I guess.
