I promised you guys more Dark Dark Horse when I got the chance. I was contacted by Jamie (of Maybeshewill fame) that he just recently remixed a song by Fossil Collective, and wanted us to show it off. It actually is a fine piece of work, perfectly in line with DDH’s style, and Fossil Collective’s vocals are impeccable. Think Dark Dark Horse. Emotional electronic music. Falsetto meshes with solid vocals in a sea of bass, pulsating beats and pure energy. I Am In Love is a 4-piece band from Leicestershire, England, and is really good or I am a sucker for all electronica (which I don’t think is the case). With one song, these guys look like a serious contender, especially playing their first show with Dark Dark Horse.
This is also one of those situations where the band is not only filled with good musicians, but also good people. The members are just really approachable people and definitely capitalize on this if you hit up their first show.
