I found this last night in my “To listen folder” which actually is just a mental checklist. Lapse is an extremely heavy powerviolence band from the Baltimore/DC are and has some excellent down tuned, sludgy riffs and some slow, driving drums that make you smash the shit outta what ever surface is around.
Lapse really reminds me of Crossed out and Infest and even some Weekend Nachos in there.The six track demo hits a doom, bass heavy fever pitch with the last track “625″ that will have your insides shaking for sure! I am excited to hear more from these guys.
